Ai Peng McBretneyThe Resident Teacher of Duldzin Dragpa Centre is Ai Peng McBretney.

She has studied and practised Kadampa Buddhism for many years under the guidance of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. She teaches at Leigh-on-Sea, Billericay, Bishop's Stortford and Epping.

Through her experience of putting Buddha's advice into practice, she presents the teachings in a clear and practical way that inspires us to develop inner peace, happiness and wisdom.

pujas The chanted prayers at Duldzin Dragpa Centre, known as 'pujas', follow a range of Buddhist prayer booklets (Sadhanas) prepared by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso and are available from the Centre's shop or Tharpa Publications. Engaging in pujas (especiallly Tsog pujas) is a special method of purifying negativity, accumulating merit and receiving blessings. It helps to develop and maintain a positive mind, and is a powerful preparation for meditation. Tsog pujas (highlighted in red below) involve making offerings of food and drink to the Buddhas together with prayers and meditation. Everyone is welcome to attend all the pujas and there is no fee.
