How to find the Walthamstow venue

From Walthamstow Central tube (Victoria line), turn right out of the station then turn left onto Hoe Street. Walk down Hoe Street for 10-15 minutes. Jewel Road is the 4th turning on your left. Quaker Meeting house is the first building on the left-hand side of Jewel Road. Go through the entrance of the car park and through the rear door.

From the West, Tottenham, Seven Sisters: follow the A503 to the junction of Forest Road and Hoe St. Turn right into Hoe Street. Jewel Road is the fourth street on your right.

From Chingford, Woodford or A406: follow the A503 to the junction of Forest Road and Hoe St. Turn left into Hoe Street. Jewel Road is the fourth street on your right.
The Quaker Meeting House (with parking at rear) is the first building on your left.

Free parking is available at the venue car park. Please take care as you drive into the car park as the entrance is very narrow.

Introduction to BuddhismThese courses are based primarily on the bestselling titles Introduction to Buddhism, The New Meditation Handbook and Transform your Life by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso and available from the meditation class, from Tharpa Publications, or at all major bookshops.
In addition to covering essential meditation techniques, various topics from these titles will be looked at each week as shown above.



Meditation CD The guided meditations given at each class are based on three CD's that are ideal companions to the course topics. They are available from the meditation class or Tharpa Publications.
