Unpleasant feelings have no power to destroy our mind. Explore how it is possible to stay calm and positive when things do not go our way.

Just as there is room in the sky for a thunderstorm, so there is room in the vast space of our mind for a few painful feelings; and just as a storm has no power to destroy the sky, so unpleasant feelings have no power to destroy our mind. When painful feelings arise in our mind, there is no need to panic.” Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso

In this half day course, Kadam Ai Peng will explore how it is possible to stay calm and positive when things do not go our way. Instead of feeling overwhelmed and immediately wishing to escape from painful feelings, we can learn the meaning of patiently accepting them and see how this is a great way to free our mind from tension and anxiety.

This course will be based on the book How to Solve our Human Problems by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso and is suitable for everyone.

You will learn how to:

Led by Kadam Ai Peng McBretney, our Resident Teacher. Includes teachings and guided meditation, with time for Q&A.

Everyone welcome!
