Learning to Control our Desire
Sat 18 May
| 10am - 1.15pm
Epping, Essex
£25
Buddha explains that if we were able to control our desire there would be no basis to experience problems.
Although we want to be happy all the time we do not know how to do this, and we are always destroying our own happiness by following our uncontrolled desire and developing anger and negative intentions.
By learning the meaning of controlling our desire we will be able to find happiness from a different source and attain permanent freedom from suffering. Don’t miss this opportunity to find out how to do this in this half day course.
You will learn how to:
- Find real happiness
- Stop craving and attachment
- Solve daily problems that come from discontentment and agitation
Led by Kadam Ai Peng McBretney, our Resident Teacher. Includes teachings and guided meditation, with time for Q&A.
Everyone welcome!
