Directions:

From the North, Harlow and M11:follow the B1393 Southbound to Epping High Street. After 300 yards look out for the Police Station on the left and on the right, Card Factory and Fat Face shop (next to two red BT phone boxes). Turn right here for Buttercross Lane.

From the South, Loughton or M25 (J26): follow the B1393 Northbound to Epping High Street. After 300 yards look out Marks and Spencers on your left. 100 yards on you will see the Fat Face shop and Card Factory (next to two red BT phone boxes). Turn left here for Buttercross Lane. Duldzin Dragpa Centre is the fourth property on the left.

Parking:

There is no parking available at the centre, however, there is some parking on the high street and there are two nearby car parks in.

Cottis Lane Car Park: Charges between 7.30am – 6pm, Monday to Sunday (free after 6pm)

Bakers Lane Car Park: Charges between 8am – 6pm, Monday to Sunday  (free after 6pm)

Free parking in the High Street after 6pm

Course Cards

Course Cards are valid for 3 months and can be used at any time at any of the venues above.

If you miss a class, the remaining credit on your card carries over to future classes.

You can purchase one when you go along to a class or buy it online below.

Attending the classes

These evening classes are suitable for everyone. Classes include guided meditations and a talk on how meditation can be applied practically to solve our daily problems and help promote health and well-being.

There is no need to book, just come along.

What to expect at a meditation class

The weekly meditation classes are suitable for both beginners and experienced meditators. Everyone is welcome.

Most classes run for an hour and 15 minutes. We meditate sitting on chairs to ensure that everyone is comfortable.
There is no physical exercise involved.

The general structure of the class is as follows:

  • Guided meditation on how to develop innner peace
  • Teaching on how to solve daily problems and keep a happy mind
  • Another meditation or questions & answers

After the class everyone is welcome to stay for light refreshments.

The benefits of attending a class

The benefits of the teachings given in this course are, through sincerely practising these teachings you can solve your daily problems such as the problems of anger, attachment, jealousy and ignorance. You can maintain a peaceful mind all the time so that you will be happy all the time. You can maintain harmony and good relationships with your family, friends and others so that you can make others happy too. Especially you can make your human life very meaningful.

The benefits of training in meditation are, through sincerely training in meditation on the teachings given in this course you will attain spiritual realisations, which lead you to permanent liberation from all the sufferings of this life and countless future lives. There is no greater meaning than this. Even temporarily, whenever you experience problems, unpleasant feelings, depression or unhappiness you can solve these problems immediately by transforming your mind into peace through your meditation practice. The benefits of meditation are immeasurable.
