Freedom Through Wisdom: Seven Steps to a Peaceful & Joyful Mind
A joyful mind and inner freedom arise not just from letting go of pain or cultivating a good heart, but from understanding the nature of the mind itself. In this seven-week course, we’ll explore how insight into thoughts, emotions, and perceptions can release suffering and cultivate lasting clarity, peace, and joy.
You’ll experience greater calm and clarity in meditation and also cultivate a mind that is more resilient, wise, and free — capable of responding to life’s challenges with peace, compassion, and joy.
Each week builds on practical meditations and timeless teachings to help you develop awareness, insight, and freedom in your daily life.
You will discover how to:
- Observe the mind without attachment and respond with clarity
- Understand impermanence and transform challenges into growth
- Apply wisdom and meditation to daily life for lasting peace and joy
- Wed 10 June - Observing the Mind Without Attachment
- Wed 17 June - Understanding Impermanence
- Wed 24 June - Deepening Meditation Practice
- Wed 1 July - Applying Wisdom to Daily Life

Be Kind to Your Mind
~ Healthy Thoughts, Happy Life
We all want to be happy and free from problems. Yet in the busyness of daily life, it’s easy to fall into habits that don’t bring the results we hope for—sometimes even increasing our difficulties.
In this course, we will explore simple, practical ways from Buddha’s teachings to understand our mind more clearly and make more mindful choices in daily life. By becoming more aware of how our thoughts influence our experience, we can begin to respond to life with greater clarity and purpose.
Over time, this leads to a more peaceful, positive, and genuinely happy life.
You will learn how to:
- Feel calmer and less overwhelmed in daily life
- Make more mindful choices with clarity
- Build a happier, more balanced way of living
- Wed 2 Sep - Where Does Happiness Come From?
- Wed 9 Sep - Understanding Your Mind
- Wed 16 Sep - Why We Feel Stressed & Unhappy
- Wed 23 Sep - Changing Unhelpful Thinking
- Wed 30 Sep - Making Better Choices Daily
- Wed 7 Oct - Building a Happy, Meaningful Life
