From Overthinking to Inner Stillness
Sat 26 Sep
| 10am - 1.15pm
Epping, Essex
£25
In daily life, it is very easy to become caught up in overthinking, mental busyness, and constant inner dialogue. Even when nothing is wrong, the mind can feel active, restless, or unable to fully settle.
In this half-day retreat, we will learn how to gently step back from the habit of overthinking and allow the mind to naturally settle into a quieter, more peaceful state. Through simple guided meditations, we become familiar with a deeper sense of inner stillness that is always available within us.
Rather than trying to stop thoughts by force, we learn practical methods to relax mental tension and gradually experience more clarity, space, and ease in the mind.
This retreat offers a calm and supportive environment to pause, reset, and strengthen a more peaceful way of being—especially helpful when life feels particularly busy.
You will learn how to:
- Experience guided meditations to reduce overthinking and mental tension
- Learn how to gently settle the mind into greater stillness
- Develop a deeper sense of inner calm, clarity, and balance
Led by Kadam Ai Peng McBretney, our Resident Teacher. Includes teachings and guided meditation, with time for Q&A.
Everyone welcome!
