Learning to Love ~ Developing a Good Heart
Relaxing Retreat: Escape for a Weekend Away Fri 4 Oct – Sun 6 Oct
with Kadam John McBretney & Kadam Ai Peng McBretney
Everybody welcome to this weekend retreat. Through the guided meditations you will develop the precious mind of love, and take this beautiful mind home with you.
Why is it so important to develop a good heart? It’s because love overcomes all our painful feelings and their causes, the delusions, including anger and attachment, and it gives us harmonious relationships and spiritual growth. Love makes our mind peaceful, relaxed and joyful. It is the best solution to our daily problems, and is the source of all our future happiness and good fortune. Learning to cherish others will lead us into the path to the supreme happiness of enlightenment.
As Geshe Kelsang Gyatso says, “A good heart always gives good results.”
Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to solve your problems by developing a good heart.
The teachers, Kadam John McBretney and Kadam Ai Peng McBretney, each has 30 years’ experience of teaching modern Buddhism and meditation.
Enjoy the peace cafe and 38 acre grounds of Tara International Kadampa Retreat Centre in the company of people who care.
