Buddha Shakyamuni Empowerment
Sat 23 Sep
| 10.30am - 4pm
Epping, Essex
£40
During this very special event, our Resident Teacher Kadam Ai Peng McBretney will grant the blessing empowerment of Buddha Shakyamuni. By receiving this empowerment we make a special connection with Buddha and receive powerful blessings that heal our mental continuum and awaken our potential for enlightenment.
Kadam Ai Peng will also give a brief commentary to the Liberating Prayer, a beautiful praise to Buddha which is recited at the beginning of teachings and meditations in Kadampa Buddhist Centers all around the world. This special prayer, composed by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, helps us to develop deep faith in Buddha and feel inspired to practice his teachings. Through practicing what Buddha taught we can transform our life and experience profound inner peace and happiness.
Led by Kadam Ai Peng McBretney, our Resident Teacher. Includes empowerment, commentary and guided meditation.
Everyone welcome!
