Happiness and peace begin in the mind. Yet, in our busy lives, it’s easy to feel restless, stressed, or unsettled. Through the practice of meditation, we can cultivate a joyful mind and a heart at peace, regardless of external circumstances.
Whether you’re new to meditation or wish to refresh your practice, this retreat provides a supportive space to pause, reset, and create positive, lasting change in how you relate to life.
You will learn how to:

- Cultivate joy and remain uplifted
- Approach life’s challenges with balance and wisdom
Everyone welcome. No previous experience necessary.

Includes teachings and guided meditation, with time for Q&A.

Teacher - Edwina Rawson

Edwina Rawson has been studying and practising Kadampa Buddhism and meditation for many years. She is a student on the Centre’s Foundation Programme and teaches regularly on Wednesday evenings at our Hoddesdon branch venue.
Edwina is known for her warm and engaging teaching style. Her gentle clarity helps students feel at ease while gaining confidence in applying meditation and Buddhist wisdom to their own lives.
