Whether it’s the pressure to make everything perfect, navigating tricky family dynamics, or just keeping up with the busyness of the season, it’s easy to feel under pressure and disconnected from a sense of inner peace.
This half-day course offers simple, effective meditation techniques to help you stay calm, present, and emotionally balanced during the holidays.
Through guided meditations and practical advice, you’ll learn how to:
- Maintain inner peace when things get busy or stressful
- Stay patient and kind in challenging situations
- Keep a positive perspective and enjoy meaningful connections
Led by Kadam John McBretney, Guest Teacher from Heruka Kadampa Meditation Centre, London. Includes teachings and guided meditation, with time for Q&A.

Kadam John McBretney is the Resident Teacher of Heruka KMC and has been studying and practising Kadampa Buddhism for over 30 years. Known for his joyful and down-to-earth style, he has a rare ability to make even the deepest subjects clear and accessible, guiding students effortlessly to develop lasting inner peace and wisdom.
