Relax into Reality

A Weekend Retreat on Emptiness                    Fri 14 Nov – Sun 16 Nov

with Kadam John McBretney, Kadam Ai Peng McBretney & Gen Kelsang Zoma

Join us for a deeply peaceful weekend retreat in the beautiful setting of Tara IKRC, nestled in the tranquil English countryside.

Discover the freedom that comes from seeing beyond appearances. On this
peaceful weekend retreat, three experienced teachers will guide you into
the profound wisdom of emptiness, opening the door to clarity and inner
peace.

These Teachers are Kadampa Resident Teachers from Heruka KMC – Kadam John McBretney, Duldzin Dragpa Centre – Kadam Ai Peng McBretney and KMC London – Gen Kelsang Zoma.

Through guided meditations, teachings, and quiet reflection, we will explore how understanding emptiness allows us to break free from limiting appearances and misconceptions and leading to greater freedom in our daily lives.

Whether you’re new to Buddhist meditation or an experienced practitioner, this retreat offers a precious opportunity to step away from distractions and immerse yourself in wisdom and inner peace.

Everybody welcome.

Wonderful oasis of calm in a hectic world. What I've learnt here has helped me and those connected with me, in every aspect of life. The resident teacher, Ai Peng, is knowledgable, helpful and kind, and displays a perfect example of a Buddhist Practitioner. Well worth a visit.

A lovely, peaceful place where it was fantastic to think in a different way and try and clear my mind. Not something I would usually have done in the past - but would definitely come back again when solace is needed or after a busy week.

We attended the teaching 'Dealing with Loss and Change'. It was a wonderful, meaningful experience on death, and one that we will remember and treasure always.

I’ve been visiting this centre for many years now. To say the teachings are life-changing is a huge understatement! Practical advice on dealing with every day problems, all given in a clear and relatable way. I am so grateful for this centre and this Buddhist tradition. read less
